Baked Nachos

These nachos are super easy to make, anyone could make it. There is some dicing work and heating work and that’s about it! You can have them for lunch or dinner. If you like cheese, you’ll like these! If you want, you can add a dash of Tabasco Sauce into the beans when they’re cooking for a bit of spiciness. You can eat them with sour cream, salsa, and Tabasco Sauce. Enjoy!

You need:

A bag of Nacho chips

3 large tomatoes, diced

1 bag of shredded mozzarella cheese

1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese

1 can of chili beans

1 bunch of scallions, diced

Optional: 1 Jalapeno, diced (be careful, this is very spicy!!)

Tabasco sauce, Salsa, Sour Cream, for serving

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then, line a large baking dish with foil. It’s OK to use more than one foil piece.  Next, carefully line the bottom of the baking sheet with nachos. It’s OK to overlap nachos. Then, sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on the nachos.

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese with the cheddar cheese.

Sprinkle the dish with the scallions and then with the tomatoes.

If you’d like, sprinkle half or all of the dish with diced jalapenos.

Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, again, a second time.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is all melted and sizzling.

While the nachos are baking, heat up the chili beans in a small pan. Once the nachos are done cooking, place the beans everywhere on them.

Wait for them to cool a little, and then go ahead an dig in! Mmm!

    • Hi! You can buy a big bag of nacho chips in the chips aisle of any big supermarket … I’m not sure what will happen to the Dorito flavoring in the oven….
